Belvedere Palace is definitely worth taking the time to visit! I’m not really a museum person, but I genuinely enjoyed exploring every room. The stunning architecture and impressive art collections were incredible, and you’ll get to see so many breathtaking paintings. One of the highlights was seeing The Kiss by Gustav Klimt in person! It’s even more beautiful up close, with its intricate details and gorgeous gold colors. It was such a special experience to finally see this world-famous masterpiece. I was a little disappointed that we didn’t purchase the audio guide to learn more about the paintings and their stories, but we still made sure to enjoy the experience and make the most of our visit! The gardens are also beautiful, clean, and peaceful, almost like they can calm your soul just by looking at them. Everything about this place feels special, and it’s definitely a must-visit if you’re traveling to Vienna. Such a beautiful and unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend!

I saw the lippizaner stallions perfom in Maple Leaf Gardens ca. 1971 and was delighted to have a chance to see them on their home turf in Vienna We thought the price was reasonable and the quality of the perfomance was excellent. My only recommendation is to start with the junior horses and riders and finish with the more experienced horses and riders (if that order is an option).. Unfortunately photos were not allowed during the performance

Es war beides sehr schön und empfehlenswert! Für die Hofreitschule haben wir allerdings den "zweitklassigen " Eingang am Josefsplatz zugewiesen bekommen - leider hat der "Kollege" (auf Nachfrage beim Pferdeeinlass) diesen nicht markiert (von außen absolut unerkennbar) und sehr spät geöffnet - dies hat bei vielen Besuchern für Verwirrung gesorgt!

Very easy to book at reasonable rates, clear information about time slots etc ( if applicable). I used this service twice and was quite pleased with it. However at the time of second booking I was unable to avail the 10% discount that was promised after the first booking. It didn't impact our experience in anyway.

Our visit to Belvedere Palace was a wonderful experience. We explored the beautiful palace, admired its impressive architecture and gardens, and saw many famous works of art. It was a great opportunity to learn more about Vienna’s history and culture while spending a lovely time together.

Very confusing trying to find entrance to Spanish Riding School. Lots of fellow tourists asking eachother where to go!! NO signage or helpful guides, so not a good start. However once inside and seated the training morning to music was amazing, the horses beautiful excellent commentary..

La visita è andata benissimo e con il biglietto acquistato in anticipo si evita la fila e tempi di attesa, consiglio di acquistare anche la Vienna Card per usufruire di ulteriori sconti e promozioni.

Spanish Riding School Morning Exercise

Step inside the baroque Winter Riding School to observe the daily training of the Lipizzaners.

Watch young, often still dark stallions begin their schooling alongside fully trained white Lipizzaners refining advanced movements.

See loosening and strengthening exercises designed around each horse’s training level on the day.

Classical Viennese music sets the rhythm as riders and horses work through a real training session.

Upper Belvedere Palace

Explore one of Vienna’s most important museums, housed inside a former imperial palace.

Entry to the Upper Belvedere, home to Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss.

View works by Monet, Rodin, Van Gogh, and key Central European artists in the permanent collection.

Take in Baroque palace interiors that once served as a symbol of Habsburg power.

What to bring

A valid photo ID for ticket validation at both venues.

Wear comfortable shoes as both the Riding School and the Belvedere involve some walking and standing.
