I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard about the NASA Space museum, but wasn't that interested initially. We'll organized and easy to go from one area to the other. Nice food court. Shouldn't leave Houston until you experience this venue. Will make terrific vacation conversation.

This was my second visit. I was very disappointed that I could not see the Space Shuttle, I believe you had on display a couple of years ago.. The exihbits were interesting and informative. However, the Atlas rocket was in need of restoration and care and the lack of up keep was disappointing as well.

The tour was amazing, and "Moonwalkers" was outstanding - a real highlight! I got goosebumps listening to Tom Hanks describe watching the first moonwalk as a kid I was about the same age and had the same experience of laying on the living room floor, watching with family in that hot July night. It was a moment in life that lives within you forever and to hear him articulate those feelings crystalized it for me The show was the definite highlight for us.

Amazing de tour! Was really Nice. We have to buy the Control Mission Tour. When you arrive there don't forget the schedule other tours in the desk.

Getting started

Enter Space Center Houston using your general admission ticket and proceed through the main lobby to begin your visit. Once inside, you can decide whether to start with the permanent exhibits, check the schedule for educational and immersive programs, or plan a time for your NASA Tram Tours. You are free to move around the center in any order that suits your group.

What to expect

Space Center Houston

This general admission ticket gives you access to Space Center Houston, the official visitor center for NASA Johnson Space Center. You can spend as long as you like during operating hours exploring exhibits, tram tours, programs, and designated spaces included with your ticket.

Features

Permanent exhibit access is included, so you can explore all core galleries and displays that are part of Space Center Houston without additional entry tickets.

Special events included in general admission, such as Astronaut Days and activities like a galactic soccer match or AR games, may be available on select dates; check the event calendar to see what is scheduled during your visit.

Access to NASA Tram Tours is part of your ticket, allowing you to join a tram tour during your visit, subject to the day’s operating schedule and weather conditions for these outdoor routes.

Educational programs and immersive experiences are available on site; your ticket lets you access those that are included with general admission, while some specialized sessions may require separate registration or additional fees.

A dedicated Sensory Room is accessible with your admission, offering a controlled environment that guests who need a quieter space can use during their time at the center.
