What to bring

Bring a valid physical driving license (A1, T, A or B category) for all drivers; digital copies are not accepted.

Wear good under-layers, warm socks, a hat, and gloves for added comfort under the provided winter clothing.

Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated during the activity.

What’s not allowed

Driving a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited by Finnish law.

Alcoholic drinks and snacks are not included and should not be brought on the tour.

Participation is not recommended for guests with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions.

Accessibility

This experience is not wheelchair accessible.

Additional information

Minimum age for drivers is 18 years, and a valid physical driving license is required.

Two adults share one snowmobile; a single driving supplement is available for an extra fee.

Hotel pick-up/drop-off is available for accommodations outside the city centre; extra surcharges apply for locations 10 km or further from the centre and for certain resorts.

Guests staying in the city centre must walk to the meeting point at Wild About Lapland Office, Rovakatu 24, 96200 Rovaniemi.

The snowmobile driver is liable for damages up to a flat rate of €1000 per person in case of an accident.

Hotel pick-ups start 10–60 minutes before the tour. Your exact pick-up time will be confirmed by email.
