Great Barrier Reef snorkelling adventure. Venture offshore to explore colourful coral gardens and tropical marine life on the Central Great Barrier Reef. Travel from Townsville or join the boat at Magnetic Island, with reef sites selected by the skipper for the safest and best conditions on the day. The offshore journey takes approximately 2–2.5 hours, depending on the reef location and sea conditions. Enjoy approximately 3–4 hours at reef locations, with opportunities to snorkel, relax aboard and take in the open-ocean scenery. The crew provides safety briefings and in-water assistance. Lunch and light afternoon tea are included. Reef locations, visibility, currents and wildlife vary; no particular site or sighting is guaranteed.

The minimum guest age is 12 months. Infants aged 12–23 months travel free; contact the team about infant suitability before booking. Guests need sufficient swimming ability and fitness for deep, open-water snorkelling. Children require adult supervision and guests must understand crew safety instructions. The boat is wheelchair accessible; contact the team in advance so individual access needs and arrangements can be assessed. Advise medical, pregnancy or mobility concerns before booking.

What to bring

Swimwear and towel: Bring your own swimwear and a towel for snorkelling at the reef.

Sun protection: Pack reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses for all-day sun exposure.

Drinking water: Carry your own drinking water to stay hydrated during the full-day tour.

Minimum age: The minimum guest age is 12 months, and infants under 12 months cannot travel.

Child supervision: Children must remain supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
