Our driver was very informative and drove very safely with all the bicycles to contend with. This tour is a great way to get an overview of the island. Recommend sitting on the non-driver side of the bus for best views.

Pleasantly surprised by the size of the island. We took the bayseeker tour which was fantastic very scenic and the guide's knowledge was very extensive and very accommodating with photo stops. We saw quite a few kwokkas which were very cute. We enjoyed the whole experience a great day we are visting from Brisbane and will recommend it to anyone we know coming to Perth.

A nice smooth trip over and back. A highlight was the bus trip where the island's history was explained and points of interest shown. Of course, the highlight was the the quokkas.

What's not allowed

Single pieces of luggage up to 22kg and no larger than 800mm x 500mm x 400mm can be stowed in the vessels’ luggage crates.

Single carry-on items must be no larger than 600mm x 400mm x 300mm.

1 piece of luggage is permitted per person. Additional luggage will incur an excess luggage charge.

Additional information

Guide dogs are allowed onboard. However, as Rottnest Island is an A-Class reserve you should contact the rangers there for further advice on service dog allowance.

All passengers must arrive at the terminal at least 30 minutes prior to departure. If you are travelling with no luggage or freight and have e-tickets or QR codes, please make your way straight to the boarding gate. Final Boarding is 5 minutes prior to departure after which the vessel gangways are removed to ensure that the vessel departs by the stated time.

Bicycles must be collected on the island by an Adult (18+) and must be returned to Pedal and Flipper by closing time on the same day.
