What to expect
Hegra
Hegra is the focus of this experience, explored entirely by private vintage open-top Land Rover with your group and guide. Your route and commentary are tailored on the day so you can focus on the areas and stories that interest you most.
Features
- Your private vintage open-top Land Rover is reserved for your group inside Hegra, so you move between key areas in comfort while staying immersed in the desert landscape. The format keeps transfers short and maximizes the time you spend at the stops your guide selects.
- With a licensed expert guide leading a fully guided exploration of Hegra, you hear about the site’s history and architecture as you go. The experience is structured as a continuous narrative, with context shared at each stop so the landscape and carved facades make sense together.
- Entry to Hegra with site reservation is included, which secures your access for a specific time slot. Your guide handles the required formalities on site, so you can focus on the visit itself.
- Bottled water is included throughout the visit, making it easier to stay comfortable in the desert climate while you move in and out of the vehicle.
- If you choose the Private Hegra Land Rover Tour with Photographer or the Premium Hegra Land Rover Tour with Photographer & Transfers, a professional photographer joins your group. The photographer provides creative direction on poses and locations and delivers edited high-resolution images within 24–48 hours.
- Selecting the Premium Hegra Land Rover Tour with Photographer & Transfers adds private round-trip transfers between AlUla and Hegra. This option simplifies your logistics so you can rely on one booking from hotel pickup to drop-off.
Wrapping up
You can choose between three formats: the Private Guided Tour + Meeting Point Check-in with all on-site elements included, the Private Hegra Land Rover Tour with Photographer that adds a professional photographer and edited images, or the Premium Hegra Land Rover Tour with Photographer & Transfers that also includes round-trip transfers from AlUla.
