Pont du Gard

The most visited ancient French monument is the Pont du Gard aqueduct. This historic former aqueduct is one of the best-preserved Roman monuments in the world and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is situated in France's Occitanie region, midway between Nîmes, Uzès, and Avignon.
