This was my favouroite tour in my 6 week of Europe tour. Plivtice Lakes NP is more beautiful than the photos shown. Every lake and waterfall was speechless stunning. Bojan our guide was very thoughtful, funny and knowledgeable. He gave us an easier option for the hike that suited our pace and fitness. We totally enjoyed our time in this NP. Highly recommend this tour if you are in Zadar.

Tour guide was amazing and great help made my experience ten fold better and obviously the lakes were unreal. All in all great experience 10/10 would recommend.

Getting started

Your journey begins with a comfortable pickup from the meeting point in Zadar, where you’ll meet your local guide. Settle in for a relaxing ride through Croatia’s rolling countryside as your guide shares insights into regional history and culture.

What to expect

Explore 16 terraced lakes, cascading waterfalls, and vibrant ecosystems. With around four hours inside the park, you’ll enjoy the freedom to explore its well-marked walking trails and serene viewpoints at your own pace.

Panoramic boat ride: Cruise across Lake Kozjak, the largest of the lakes, for the beautiful views of the surrounding cliffs, trees, and waterfalls.

Self-guided park exploration: Walk at your own rhythm through shaded forest trails and over wooden bridges that cross turquoise lakes and bubbling streams.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes to navigate the park comfortably.

Bring a cap and sunscreen to protect yourself from the heat.

What's not allowed

Keep in mind that drones, swimming, cycling, and fishing are not allowed in this experience.

Touching the plants and trees in the venue is prohibited.

Feeding the animals in the venue is prohibited.
