Le Palazzo Vecchio est facile à trouver, on n'a pas dû attendre à l'entrée et on a pu montrer librement en haut de la tour. Vue splendide sur le Dôme et la vieille ville. Cette expérience était parfaite pour le début de notre séjour.

Access to the tower was very easy.. Just note that there are a lot of steps inside the town hall before you get to the tower climb. Once in the tower you can stop for a rest in a little room which was a prison and then half way up there is 360 viewing before making the last climb to top. At the top there are great views over Florence and the the duomo. Well worth the effort. This is a good choice if you feeling climbing the duomo dome or the Campanile bell tower is too much.

Quite a challenge to make it up the 450 odd steps but well worth it for the fantastic panoramic views!

Enter Palazzo Vecchio and show your ticket at the entrance. You will be directed to the second floor where the entrance to the tower is located, near the Hall of Lilies chamber. After a brief security check, you’ll proceed directly to the staircase, no waiting required.
