Getting started
Arrive at the fixed central meeting point for your tandem paragliding with meeting point option and complete a quick check-in. You then travel up to Babadağ Mountain, which rises to nearly 2000 meters above the famous coastline of Ölüdeniz. Before take-off, meet your certified professional pilot and listen to a concise outline of how the flight and landing on the beach near Fethiye will work.
What to expect
Babadağ Mountain and Ölüdeniz coastline
Babadağ Mountain is the launch site for your flight, set above Ölüdeniz and its well-known Blue Lagoon on the Aegean coast. From here you will experience a single continuous tandem paragliding flight down toward the shoreline near Fethiye.
Features
- From take-off at nearly 2000 meters on Babadağ Mountain, you and your pilot run a few steps together, then the canopy lifts you into the air above the coastline of Ölüdeniz and the Aegean coast.
- During the flight, look down at the Blue Lagoon, the surrounding mountains, and the curve of the shoreline as you glide on air currents toward the beach near Fethiye.
- Your tandem paragliding flight with a certified professional pilot means the pilot controls the wing, so you can focus on the changing views throughout the descent.
- A dedicated safety briefing before take-off covers take-off posture, in-flight seating, and landing procedure, so you know what to do at each stage.
- All necessary paragliding equipment, including harness and canopy, is provided and fitted for you on site, so there is no need to bring any technical gear.
- Full insurance coverage is included for your tandem paragliding flight, adding an extra layer of security from take-off to landing.
- Photos and videos taken by the pilot are not included in the flight, but you can choose to purchase them afterward if you want a record of your time above Ölüdeniz.
