My 5 year old loves aquariums. At home we visit our local one all the time which is lovely. But this one in Lisbon blew us away! Before you go in there is a prehistoric sea creature exhibition which he loved. He had his picture taken with every one! Then the aquarium... the main tank has so many sharks and rays. It was spectacular! We also loved the light show with rays and whales I actually found that quite moving, while the kids were super excited running around touching the lights. Plus there selection of other sea creatures there was quite astounding. The sea dragons were my personal favourite. We were so impressed. My parents who are in their 70s and my toddler also absolutely loved it. A must see in Lisbon!

I enjoyed the tour of marine exhibits and how they are set out amongst the backdrop of the main showpiece marine aquarium and all the different species within and the welfare and care of each exhibit on show particular my own interests seahorses and weedy sea dragons , I thought the opening tropical freshwater water of South American fish and planted display tank was spectacular and was a bit disappointed not to see more freshwater fish displays Butin all a very good enjoyable experience

We loved wandering through at our own pace and just enjoying the wonder of this amazing colourful experience. I'm sure a guide will add to it if you like that but it is so easy and magical to follow the path through alone. The fish, penguins and other birds all look so healthy and are clearly well cared for and that makes it an absolute joy to visit. A fabulous place to destress as you explore and begin to feel more and more relaxed - now that can only be good for our health too.

Da subacquea quale sono, ho potuto constatare l'accuratezza degli ambienti dove gli animali sono collocati, un bel assortimento di animali belli e in salute, la vasca centrale è fantastica e così tutte le finestre piccole e grandi che le girano intorno, danno la possibilità di guardare ogni angolo è da una prospettiva diversa. Anche le teche sulla dx molto belle, favolosa quella con i dragon fish!!!

Love the history and amazed at how old these buildings are. Well kept, kind people working and or volunteers. Our structure in Canada is not nearly as old. So great to see these beautiful historic sites in Portugal. Head out was very user friendly, great reminders and QR codes to get in. Thanks

Abbiamo deciso di visitare l'oceanografico sotto suggerimento, e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi. Ne vale assolutamente la pena. Bello è dir poco. La vasca centrale su cui si articola tutto il percorso è davvero spettacolare.

Foi um combo interessante esse do Oceanario e do Teleferico Telecabine. Primeiro fui ao Oceanario e em seguida no Teleferico Telecabine. Estava um dia muito lindo, com sol e foi perfeito.

National Palaces

The two palaces sit 4km from each other, and have distinct identities. Pena Palace on the Portuguese Riviera, stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains above the town of Sintra. The palace and its surrounding gardens have unique aesthetics, representing 19th century Romanticism. The Palace of Sintra is much older, and serves as a present-day historic house museum. Being inhabited for nearly 8 centuries, the palace is filled to the brim with stories and legends of age-old monarchs.
