Great thanks to our guide Ondrej, trying his best to chase the northern lights all the way to south west region even on the return ride to our stay. Lovely aurora experience & the photos taken were amazing. Not to mention the warm free blueberry juice that also warm our hearts 👍

The campfire and snacks. Carla, our guide was really lovely! She was super friendly and informative. Really had a good time with her despite not being able to see the northern lights due to no aurora activity

Begin with a convenient hotel pick-up within 17 km of Rovaniemi or meet your guide at the designated office. After a quick briefing and fitting of winter overalls and boots, you’ll set off in a VIP van, ready to track the best Aurora conditions.

This day trip is designed for those eager to maximize their chances of seeing the Aurora Borealis. Guides monitor weather and solar activity, adjusting the route in real time to find clear skies, sometimes traveling as far as the Swedish border.

What to bring

Bring a bottle of water.

Dress warmly with good under-layers, socks, hats, and gloves. Winter overalls and boots will be provided.

If you wish to take your own photos, bring your camera or phone (tripods are recommended for night photography).

What’s not allowed

Pets are not permitted on the tour.

Smoking in the vehicle is not allowed.

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited. Guests under the influence will not be allowed to join and will not receive a refund.

Explosive substances are not allowed.

Accessibility

This experience is not suitable for people over 95 years old.

Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions.

Some walking may be required during the tour.

The experience is not fully wheelchair accessible.

Northern Lights sightings depend on weather conditions and solar activity, so while they can't be guaranteed or predicted with certainty, the chances are high!

This tour requires a minimum of 2 people to run on weekdays and Saturdays.

The tour requires a minimum of 4 people to run on Sundays and public holidays.

Maximum guest number for the group is 8 pax per car.

Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by adults paying the full price.

The tour may be canceled or rescheduled if the group size is smaller than 2 persons.
