Hi, We had a wonderful night. Our guide and host Lisa was so lovely. She was very welcoming and made things easier for us and our kids. And to top it all, we saw wonderful northern lights. I highly recommend taking a tour with Lisa.

We are from Nepal and it was our first time trying to see the Northern Lights. To be honest, I was quite skeptical that we would see them at all. At the first stop, there was nothing visible, but Alex and Sandra didn’t give up. They took us to a beautiful spot in the forest, and after a little wait, we were rewarded with the magical Northern Lights. The barbecue was wonderful, the sky was incredibly clear, and we could see so many stars. Alex and Sandra were knowledgeable and clearly knew where to go and when we would have the best chance of seeing the lights. They were also right on time, which made the whole experience smooth and well organized. A truly unforgettable evening—highly recommended!

Almost everything about the tour was enjoyable. It turned out to be a small group, 7 in total, 3 different nationalities/languages. Even though it was an English guided tour, the guide (Belgian) was able to speak to each group in their own language to make sure they understood. The only downside unfortunately, was that we failed to find the Northern Lights which was a pity. Maybe, the next trip!

Alex was very nice and knowledgeable guy! It was minus -17(real feel -22) so the bbq and fireplace in the tend and the wam juice was a nice touch while we waited. In the end the northern lights is a natural phenomenon so sometimes you get more lucky than others, we saw it but very minimally but still overall a great experience

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID to match your booking if requested at pickup.

Dress warmly in layers; winter overalls and boots are provided, but additional thermal clothing, hats, and gloves are recommended.

Bring your own camera if you wish to take photos or learn photography tips during the Northern Lights hunt.

Have your booking confirmation (digital or printed) ready for pickup and check-in.

What’s not allowed

Unaccompanied children under 12 are not allowed; all children must be accompanied by an adult paying full price.

Pets are not permitted, except registered service animals.

Alcohol, drugs, or any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited.

Smoking is not allowed inside vehicles or during group activities.

The tour involves walking on uneven, snowy, or icy terrain in natural settings.

Additional information

Northern Lights sightings are not guaranteed as they depend on weather conditions and solar activity.

Minimum age for participation is 3 years; infants under 2 join free of charge.

At least 2 people are required for small group tours on weekdays and Saturdays; at least 4 on Sundays and public holidays.

Maximum group size is 8 guests per car for small group tours; large group tours may have more participants.

Be ready in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to scheduled pickup; exact departure time is in your confirmation email.

If the Northern Lights are not captured by the photographer, you may join the tour again within 1 week at half price (subject to availability).

Children aged 3–11 must be accompanied by an adult.
