The six of us had a great time riding the cable car and exploring the SkyWalk. Unfortunately, it started raining, so the SkyBridge and SkyGlide were temporarily closed for visitors’ safety. We fully understood and appreciated this precaution. As we had already paid for these attractions, I reported the matter to a Headout agent and requested a refund for the unavailable activities. We are still awaiting the refund. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, but I hope the refund process can be resolved promptly.

I was able to download the 6 QR codes but it would help if each were labeled. Priority entry went very well and the whole experience was great. The mist parted occasionally to afford spectacular views.

The Langkawi Cable Car was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Langkawi. The journey up was breathtaking , watching the turquoise sea, lush rainforest and surrounding islands slowly unfold beneath me was something I could have stared at forever. I went with my parents and these are memories we will live with forever . Booking with Headout was seamless too

We found Headout easy to use. We were waiting to see what the weather was before purchasing our tickets, and appreciated the flexibility of having this option. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Langkawi Sky Walk and Cable. There isn't a lot of shelter so make sure you are prepared for the heat. We finished our day with a Cekguu's ice cream sundae!

Our visit to SkyCab was really special. The cable car ride was exciting, and the views were breathtaking. We enjoyed the cool weather and beautiful scenery. It was a memorable experience for me and my family.

Getting started

Begin your visit with a ride on the Langkawi SkyCab, which takes you toward the summit of Machinchang Mountain. As the cable car climbs, the landscape gradually opens up, revealing forested valleys, mountain ridges, and the surrounding scenery. If you’ve selected the 360° Gondola option, enjoy the open-air design and refreshing mountain breeze as you travel upwards.

What to expect

Your Langkawi Cable Car experience offers a bird’s-eye view of the island’s natural landscapes. During the ascent, look out over the main island and surrounding islets, with closer views of unique vegetation along the mountain ridges and forested valleys between the middle and upper stations.

The journey also brings views of the Seven Sisters Waterfall, ocean, and lush greenery surrounding Machinchang Mountain. The changing perspective from the cable car makes the ascent an important part of the experience, with expansive scenery unfolding as you approach the summit.

Once you reach the viewing areas, continue to the SkyBridge and SkyWalk for elevated vantage points over Langkawi. The viewing platforms provide a chance to take in the island’s west coast and surrounding landscapes from above, with panoramic views stretching across the natural scenery.

For an even more immersive ride, the 360° Gondola offers an open-air cable car experience, allowing you to feel the breeze of Machinchang Mountain while enjoying the views throughout the ascent.

Choose the standard Cable Car option or the Express Cable Car option ,while both options include access to the SkyBridge and SkyWalk.
