We enjoyed the Gondola Ride going up to First, doing the Cliff Walk, Hike to Lake Balchapsee. I would highly recommend one or two portable potty on the way to or at Lake Balchapsee. It was a very long hike, and there were no signs as to how long the hike was gonna be in terms of duration, like one hour or 2 hours, etc., and no one knew what lies ahead. Saw many young children to the point of serious exhaustion and it wasn't pleasant watching these young children suffer. There needs to be more clear signs before the start of the hike to Lake Balchapsee

Grindelwald é simplesmente linda, e o passeio já começa de uma forma especial com a subida de bondinho, que oferece vistas maravilhosas das montanhas e de toda a paisagem ao redor. Ao chegar ao First, o cenário é ainda mais impressionante. Fazer o Cliff Walk, com a passarela junto à montanha e aquela vista incrível dos Alpes, foi uma experiência maravilhosa. Tudo muito bem organizado e fácil de acessar. Um passeio que vale muito a pena e que eu faria novamente!

Accessibility

The First gondola itself is generally wheelchair accessible, and the stations provide barrier-free access and accessible facilities.

The summit area around the station, restaurant, and viewing areas is relatively accessible.

Accessible toilets are available at the mountain station.

The First Cliff Walk is not fully accessible end-to-end. Parts of the route involve steps, narrow sections, and uneven surfaces.

For groups with three or more wheelchairs, preregistration is essential, with a maximum of three wheelchairs in a group of up to ten.
