James was a legend! Funny, charismatic, made the city charming and equally taking the piss out of the right things. Great time was had! Highly recommend live commentary. And we've now checked out several extra pubs (Kennedys and John Fallons). Made two Canadian gals very happy!!

A fun, knowledgeable chap gave us the history of the Jameson company and how it evolved. A flight of 3 of Jameson's whiskeys allowed everyone to compare the taste and mouthfeel of 3 of its flagship products. A fun hour or two, which also included a grog!

I went on the river tour would have liked a 10 minute stop at the famine statues! Came all the way from the states just to see the memorial. There was no time to get on and off. The rest of the tour is amazing!

Good fun. Maybe a bit light on "wow" exhibits. If you play drums, guitar or base, prepare a suitable piece to join in the jam session. Sad that Phil and Rory left us too early. They are well celebrated here.

The Headout appappeared when I was trying to book. It was easy to use, book and pay. Booking was confirmed immediately and all necessary details for our your to the Irish Rock Museum. The tour was amazing with tour guide, Kevin. At one stage, Kevin invited any participants who played instruments to have a go. One visitor played the drums and Kevin played bass. It was special. The tour has so much to show and tell, yet it is relaxed, unhurried and very informative. I took an American visitor. She loved it and rated it 'amazing'

The tour guide was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and welcoming . He brought the exhibits to life with his anecdotes and snippets of additional background information delivered in the manner of a conspiratorial confidant . He is reportedly a musician himself and we could definitely picture this. He was very adept in involving us all and including audience participation. Would highly recommend .

Worth the money and an absolute essential to transverse Dublin City. We took my senior parents for a 24 hour pass and they loved it! The bus is a fun way to learn a little bit about the main touchstones of Dublin city while resting your feet - the tour guide had a lot to offer my father who had detailed questions about the architecture of the GPO. The stops are all at high caliber destinations ranging from dinner shows to the Book of Kells. We enjoyed the convenient location by the Hueston-Station which made getting from the train and into "tourist-mode" very easy and fun for them. The cost was also very economical compaired to taxi and we didn't have to wait at any stop longer than 15 minutes.

DoDublin Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour

You can bring one child under 15 for free with each adult ticket. Tickets must be purchased for additional children, and student tickets must be purchased for children 15 years old and over. Children travelling for free do not need a ticket.

Max. 8 child tickets per booking (including free). Any additional children per group must hold a student ticket.

Ask your bus driver for a free ticket to the Little Museum.

Starting from the first departure of the day, every bus on the hour features a live English Tour. Every second bus offers a multilingual service. Multilingual buses are provided in German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian and Irish. Please look for the sign on the front of the bus.

The German live tour operates on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays only during the high season.

The Docklands Tour is only available in English with a live tour guide.

The Docklands tour has only 2 departures during the low season.
