The David Hockney experience at the Imba theatre was absolutely incredible. The animation was stunning and so cleverly designed to fully immerse you in the space. We booked the earliest spot on a weekday and had the whole space to ourselves. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made our morning even more special. Absolutely recommend. We took our toddler too and he really enjoyed the open space, the beanbags and the colours and engaging animations.

The experience of the artwork is nice but the onboarding experience with ticketing can be improved. The confirmation email did not state we must need to install the app for the qr code. Other similar websites like Klook sends out emails as well. After getting the codes, it shows invalid in staff's interface and took some time to rectify.

An immersive exhibition created by Lightroom that explores David Hockney’s artistic vision across six decades of painting, photography, drawing, and digital media.

What to bring

Please present your mobile ticket or e‑ticket at the entrance for scanning.

We recommend arriving at least 10–15 minutes before your chosen time slot to ensure smooth entry.
