Arrive at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center IMAX Theater in Tusayan, just outside the South Rim entrance. Present your entry ticket at the theater entrance; tickets purchased online are valid for any screening, so you can choose a convenient showtime. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your selected screening, especially if you need translation headsets or are visiting during peak periods.

The Grand Canyon IMAX Theater features a six-story screen and advanced IMAX with Laser technology, offering heightened realism and vivid detail.

Experience the award-winning film "Grand Canyon: Rivers of Time," a 37-minute journey through the canyon’s geology, history, and early civilizations, brought to life with aerial IMAX photography and CGI animation.

Enjoy screenings with a 12-channel sound system, delivering precise, immersive audio that captures every detail, from quiet moments to the roar of Colorado River rapids.

Access special engagement films such as "Deep Sky," which showcases NASA’s Webb Telescope imagery and cosmic discoveries, playing nightly at 8:30pm for a limited time.

Translation is available during specified hours: Chinese and Korean from 9:30am to 12:30pm, Spanish and French from 1:30pm to 8:30pm, with plug-in headsets available for an additional $2.
