Genting Highlands was one of the highlights of our Malaysia trip. The cool mountain weather was a refreshing break from Kuala Lumpur’s heat, and the scenic ride on the Awana SkyWay cable car offered breathtaking views of the rainforest. The atmosphere was vibrant, with plenty of attractions for all ages, including Genting SkyWorlds, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. We especially enjoyed visiting the beautiful Chin Swee Caves Temple, which offered stunning panoramic views and a peaceful environment. The entire resort was clean, well-organized, and family-friendly. The staff were helpful, and there was always something fun to do. Overall, Genting Highlands is a fantastic destination for families, couples, and friends. If you’re visiting Malaysia, it’s definitely worth spending a day or two here. Highly recommended! 🌄🎢🚠

Although there can be crowds during peak periods, the overall experience is enjoyable and worth the visit. Genting Highlands continues to improve its attractions and facilities, making it a destination full of fun, relaxation, and great memories. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting and refreshing getaway.

The theme park is modern and clean and is in a cool refreshing climate high up in the mountains. I liked that each zone is based on different movies, so it’s fun to explore and take pictures. The rides are fun for families and thrill seekers alike but it gets more crowded as time goes on. The best ride was the epic boat ride for myself. What made the trip even better was a visit to the nearby Chin Swee Temple. It’s quiet and set in a stunning location on a hill with spectacular views over the surrounding highlands.

Ride the Genting Highlands Cable Car for a smooth 20-minute journey above lush rainforest valleys and the scenic peaks of the Titiwangsa Mountains.

Enjoy a hassle-free round trip from Awana Station to SkyAvenue Station with a scenic mid-way stop at Chin Swee Caves Temple.

Pause at Chin Swee Station to explore the iconic temple complex, pagodas, and panoramic mountain viewpoints before continuing your ride.

Travel comfortably in modern gondolas while soaking in sweeping views of tropical rainforest landscapes by day or dusk.

Some rides were not working..... after waiting for an hour .. we were to told that ride is cancelled due to technical reasons..... Plus lot of queues even on working days.... the one using fast lane.... the other looks .... have all the time in the world.... plus many other activities were closed ...... Really bad experience..... universal studios and disbwy.... far better

Brilliant weather and virtual queue is beneficial for my kids virgin trip to Genting. Will come again 😉

What to expect

Settle into a comfy gondola and soar above the Titiwangsa Mountains on a smooth, 10-minute cable car ride from Awana Station. Midway, step off at Chin Swee Station to explore the stunning Chin Swee Caves Temple — a serene hilltop stop surrounded by cool mountain air, intricate statues, and pagodas. After soaking in the views, hop back on to continue up to SkyAvenue Station, the lively peak filled with restaurants, shops, and attractions.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

Additional information

Guests under 16 years must be accompanied by a guardian with valid tickets or passes at all times.

You can disembark at Chin Swee Station but keep your ticket to continue your journey on the cable car to the SkyAvenue Station or Awana Station.

Each passenger can take along one aircraft cabin-size bag on the gondola, measuring 22in x 14in x 9in.
