Entry was pretty smooth and easy, no problem with the tickets which was great. the palace was beautiful and we were fortuna to see the band get in and do some great band songs. palace is huge and we only got to know a part of it! definitely should go.

It offers a fascinating look into the UAE's governance and cultural heritage. To help other travelers make the most of their visit, here are a few quick tips: Best Time to Go: Aim to arrive around 4:30 PM. This gives you plenty of daylight to explore the stunning interiors, the Library, and the House of Knowledge, while also allowing you to catch the golden hour for outdoor photos. Stay for the Show: By arriving in the late afternoon, you are perfectly timed to stay for the "Palace in Motion" light and sound show, which takes place on the main palace facade just after sundown. It is spectacular and included in your ticket! Dress Code: Because this is a working presidential palace and a cultural landmark, make sure to dress modestly (shoulders and knees must be covered) to ensure smooth entry. Bring Sunglasses: The pristine white stone of the palace exterior is blindingly bright in the mid-day sun, so sunglasses are a must if you arrive earlier in the day. It's a famous building and the interior was so beautiful. Definitely woeth a visit. Too bad the horses didn't come out on time or we would have loved to get photos with them. The light show is visible from afar and it was pretty cool.

Qasr Al Watan

Nestled in Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan is a presidential palace that was recently opened to the public. One of the finest examples of Arabic architecture and craftsmanship, the palace's design signifies its heritage and its future vision. The palace has its own library with books on a wide range of subjects including archeology, history, heritage, memoirs, biographies, human and social sciences, statistics, administration, culture, literature, arts, etc.

It also has its own gift shops; one at the Visitors Center and the other at the palace building. One of the major attractions of the palace is its light and sound show, which depicts the history and growth of the UAE as a nation. This show has been divided into three acts; past, present, and future.

What's not allowed

Note: Outside food and beverages, ice coolers, cold boxes, glass items, and potentially hazardous items (i.e. weapons, knives, etc.) are not allowed inside the parks.
