⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An amazing experience – highly recommend Lily Elephant Sanctuary! I was initially torn between choosing a completely hands-off elephant sanctuary and somewhere that allowed a little closer interaction & I’m absolutely thrilled we chose Lily Elephant Sanctuary! The elephants have been rescued from a life of performing & the whole experience almost feels like being a keeper in training for the day. You get the wonderful opportunity to feed & spend time up close with these beautiful animals, but it never feels forced, excessive or as though the elephants are being exploited. What really stood out was how incredibly kind & gentle the handlers were with the elephants. There is clearly a genuine bond between them & the elephants appear happy, relaxed and very well cared for. It was such a special experience and struck exactly the right balance between meaningful interaction and respect for the animals. A wonderful sanctuary, lovely people and an unforgettable experience. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough! 🐘❤️

Absolutely fantastic experience with my family. The staff were amazing, so knowledgeable about the elephants, the whole experience from start to finish was unreal. Our children 6, 9 and 12 year old had the most amazing experience and loved every part of the experience.

Honestly, one of the best experiences of my life. We got too walk along side the elephants and respected thier space, plus give them a sea wash, also make thier food and feed them. The elephants were so taken care of, one handler too one elephant and absolutely NO RIDING - which i love. One great thing they do is recylcle elephant waste for fertiliser, making paper and coffee - it was great learning about thier sustainable efforts. I would do this again in a heart beat!

We had a wonderful time. Everyone was so lovely and the atmosphere was peaceful. My youngest son took a like to our guide Kim who was fantastic. He was sad to leave.

Visit Lily Elephant Sanctuary by the beach for a guided elephant-feeding experience, with options to add a rain shower, sea bathing, lunch, or hotel transfers.

Getting started

Arrive at Lily Elephant Sanctuary for your selected guided tour. An expert English-speaking guide accompanies the visit and shares information about elephant care and conservation. Your activities depend on the option you book, so check the inclusions before your visit to confirm whether it covers a rain shower, sea bathing, lunch, or hotel pickup and drop-off.

What to expect

Feed elephants by the beach

The feeding experience gives you an opportunity to spend time with the elephants and learn about their care. Your guide provides insights into elephant conservation while you take part in the feeding activity.

Enter Lily Elephant Sanctuary

Learn about elephant care and conservation

Feed the elephants with the included food

Follow the guide's instructions during the experience

The basic feeding option focuses on the beachside feeding experience. It includes food and beverages, an expert English-speaking guide, and insurance.

Add a rain shower or sea bathing

Choose an option that includes an additional bathing activity if you want to extend your visit beyond feeding. The rain-shower option includes an outdoor rain shower, while the sea-bathing options combine elephant feeding with time at the beach and a jungle walk.

Choose the outdoor rain shower option

Select sea bathing for a different experience

Join the beach and jungle walks included with sea-bathing options

These activities are not included in every variant, so review the selected option before booking.

Choose lunch and hotel transfers

Two options include hotel pickup and drop-off. One of these also includes lunch, while the other sea-bathing option does not list lunch as an inclusion. The remaining options focus on the sanctuary visit and listed activities without hotel transfers.

Select the lunch-inclusive sea-bathing option for a meal

Choose a transfer-inclusive option for hotel pickup and drop-off

Check the inclusions for food, beverages, and insurance

Wrapping up

Your visit concludes after the activities included in your selected option. Before booking, compare the five options to choose between feeding alone, an outdoor rain shower, sea bathing, lunch, and hotel transfers.
