The directions given by Headout to get into the Chateau of Versailles were clear. The difficult part was trying to work out which direction to walk from Versailles Rive Gauche RER station as arrows pointed in both directions. Basically turn right out of the station, walk until the next big junction and look left for the golden gates, about 10 mins walk. The audio guide led us around the Palace well, and there were clear instructions how to get to the next point. Best of all the audio guide paused until we got to the correct spot (other guides I have used in the past got very confusing). An audio or physical guide is definitely required, as there is little information in each room. The tour concentrated on the grandeur of Versailles, but it would have been interesting to hear more of the actual experience of living or working there.

Unique experience! Versailles is a must see , a once in a lifetime experience. From the golden gates to the palace’s grand gardens and the gardens of Trianon, Versailles brings history and beauty together—as though the splendour of the Sun King’s reign were still reflected in the Hall of Mirrors. Every gilded detail, quiet pathway, and fountain invites you to pause and imagine the lives once lived here. Walking through it all, I felt that the past had never entirely left; it lingered in the light, the gardens, and the reflections.

Después de haber estado en Paris en otros viajes, no había tenido la oportunidad de visitar Versalles y WOW en este viaje tuve la suerte y de verdad que me gustó, cómo fue que me lo perdí en años pasados ?. No sólo me gustó sino que obtuve una explicación clara de su historia gracias a la audiofonia que es perfecta. No dejaré de recomendar a mis amigos que hagan esta visita y con suficiente tiempo.

Wat een geweldige ervaring! Onze volledige toegang tot het Paleis van Versailles was perfect geregeld via Headout. De boeking verliep ontzettend soepel en de toegang ter plaatse was heel vlot, waardoor we direct konden genieten van de prachtige zalen en de adembenemende tuinen. Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die Versailles zorgeloos wil bezoeken!

We loved Versailles, from the gardens that go on forever, to the opulence of the palace! We walked over 7 miles that day, and were in awe with every room we entered in the palace, to the fountains in the gardens! It's difficult to explain the experience with someone who has never been there. The town was very charming too!

Die Karten waren rechtzeitig auf dem Handy. Der Einlass verlief nach Zeitplan und organisiert. Die Führung war gut, leider wollten wir mehr sehen. Entweder war die Führung drinne nicht richtig oder man muss mehr zahlen für alle Räumlichkeiten. Leider war der Kutschensaal geschlossen, obwohl er auf sein sollte. Der Park ist sehr weitläufig. Besuch von Madame Antoinete muss nicht unbedingt sein. War eher eine Ausstellung des Films mit Kirsten Dunst. Trotzdem, Reise wert!!!

One of the most memorable experiences, I can't say anything negative about this. Ticketing was easy, just show up 15 mins prior to your entry time. Lots to see rich in culture, art and history.. highly recommended. Be prepared to walk a fair bit though, the palace is huge!

Got there early and went to the garden first until the scheduled tour time. The line gets long so I gave myself enough time. The audio was perfect because it goes with your pace. Everything was beautiful! Loved it!
