Honestly, this was one of the SMOOTHEST roadtrips I've had. I went with my husband and our two teens, and our driver (Mohammed) was chatty and kind without being overbearing, which is a big plus for me! He had water and even some local snacks ready for us, and stopped at this random viewpoint for pics (def worth the wind in my hair). Drive was comfy, AC worked all the way (blessing, trust me). Petra itself was a bit crowded but totally magical. If you’re worried about toilets—don’t, they were surprisingly clean at the stops. Would do it all again, maybe in cooler weather though.

Had a great trip with my girlfriend—our driver, Farid, was ON TIME (rare for tours lol). He gave us tons of info about Petra and the local villages. Car was clean, but a bit of a bumpy ride in spots. Wish we had more time in Wadi Rum, felt a lil rushed there. Still, got some epic sunset photos and Farid knew all the best stops for them. Just bring extra sunscreen, the sun is NO joke.

Loved our time! Our guide/driver, Khaled, kept us laughing the whole way and even taught us a few Arabic phrases. My only gripe was that there was a delay at the ticket office (not his fault but still annoying). Otherwise, the ride was comfy, stops were well timed, and we got to try local coffee. Pro tip: ask Khaled about where to get the best falafel.

Went solo—just needed an easy way to see Petra without the hassle. My driver, Sami, was super chill and didn't mind my awkward silences. He even helped me find a SIM card shop on the way, which saved my day. Petra was jaw-dropping but ngl the walk from entrance is LONG, so wear good shoes. Shoutout to Sami for the playlist too, dude has taste.

Did this trip with my parents and it was such a treat. Our driver, Bilal, was SUPER friendly and patient, especially with my dad’s endless questions. He even found a panoramic spot that wasn’t crowded for our picnic lunch (bring snacks, you’ll want them). Petra was as stunning as expected. Would 100% recommend, especially for families.

What to bring

Wear comfortable walking shoes suitable for hiking and climbing stairs at Hang Mua Cave.

Bring sun protection such as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

Accessibility

This experience is not wheelchair accessible due to uneven terrain, stairs at Hang Mua Cave, and boat embarkation/disembarkation.

Guests with limited mobility or serious health conditions are not recommended to join this tour.
