My husband and I have enjoyed the Dali museum in St. Petersburg, FL for many years now and were curious to see Dali's museum in the town he grew up in, located in Spain. We could not have imagined how prolific and diverse Dali's talents were. From the marvel of his technical skill as a very young painter, to sculptures, etchings and jewelry design, not to mention the building itself that is stunning and seems to have room after room of artistic treasures. It is as wild and unpredictable as the man himself. If you enjoy the art of Dali, make an effort to see this museum in this lovely, quaint town. And it's worth it to see the over 1,000-year-old church next to it that baptized Dali and held Dali's funeral, though he is buried in the museum itself. The museum is a beautiful tribute to the unique and masterful talent of Dali.

It was easy togo to the booking web page. Then go to available time slots for the day we wanted to go. I choose the time slot that suitablr for us. On having choosen a time slot went to payment page. Entered my details then put in payment details . Pressed pay then waited about 3 minutes and got etickets

The Dalí Theatre was a wonderful experience! I've loved his work all my life but I saw artworks here I'd never seen before. The building itself is splendid. It sets off Dali's imaginative works perfectly. I wouldn't have missed this for the world.

We bought the tickets online minutes before entering so it went very smoothly. The exhibit was extremely interesting and entertaining. If anything was a negative it was that Dali was so prolific that maybe a bit fewer works would be better.

It was a delightful experience to visit the Teatro Museo, and we did it the same day after we had visited the Dali home in Cadaques. wonderful insights and fabulous art- a perfect t day visiting Spain!

At the ‘Mae West Room’, admire her lips sofa, eyes fireplace, and face painting on the wall, the actress was Dalí’s feminine ideal of beauty, after all.

Take a closer look at Dalí’s Royal Heart brooch and other jewelry in the Jewels Collection, and also catch a glimpse of the famous ‘Rainy Taxi’ sculpture.

Fácil acceso e instrucciones sencillas. Al ser entre semana fue muy puntual. El museo una experiencia inolvidable que hace más cercano al genio que fue Dalí.

meine erfahrung mit headout xar im grossen ind ganzen possitiv, vor allen dingen kamen xir problemlos ins museum dali, figeres, ohne problem. das einzige was ich zu beanstanden hätte wäre das es ein gewisser wirrrwarr gab, ehe die kartenscans auf mein emailkonto erschienen. ich müsste an ihre kundenservice per email wenden, damit ich die karzen bekam. ein bisschen aufregend das alle, da mein eintrittstermin ziemlich knapp war.

What to expect

Dalí Theatre-Museum

Conceived and designed by Salvador Dalí, this museum is often called the world’s largest surrealist object. Its centerpiece geodesic dome crowns a space where Dalí’s vision unfolds across rooms, installations, and his final resting place.

Rainy Cadillac: Step into the central courtyard to view Dalí’s famed installation anchoring the museum’s theatrical spirit.

Geodesic dome & Treasure Room: Access the stage beneath the dome and the Treasure Room; Dalí’s tomb lies below, adding historical resonance.

Rooms 1 to 24: Explore paintings, sculptures, optical illusions, and immersive set pieces across distinctive rooms designed for discovery.

Fishmongers’ Room: Visit this exhibition space as part of your museum access for added context on Dalí’s practice.

What’s not allowed

Smoking, drinking, eating, and touching artworks are prohibited inside the venue.

Objects larger than 35 x 35 x 25 cm, rucksacks, bags, umbrellas, and pushchairs are not allowed on this experience.

Handbags and backpacks will be searched at the entrance checkpoint. For safety and security reasons, objects deemed potentially dangerous (knives, penknives, etc) must be collected at the end of the visit.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Professional photography is strictly prohibited at the venue. You need prior permission for shoots.

Some areas of the museum are wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.
