Emiliano was everything you'd want in a tour guide -- someone extremely knowledgeable about the works in the Borghese Gallery, the historical context, but also capable of transmitting his passion for the masterpieces through his explanations. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Borghese Gallery with Agnes (Agnese). She was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about both the collection and the history surrounding it. Rather than presenting isolated facts, she wove the artworks into a coherent historical narrative that gave us a much deeper appreciation of the collection as a whole. She was friendly, engaging, and obviously well qualified to guide the tour. We especially appreciated that she generously gave us an extra fifteen minutes to discuss Raphael, which was a wonderful way to conclude an already excellent experience.
