The Osaka Amazing pass is worth buying if you plan a day or two of exploring Osaka's key sites. The JR train Is excluded. We managed to come home last night on the metro train and the fare was included. But it required support to let us through. The SUica cards more helpful for trains. Regardless we benefited from the pass for entry fees. To access the Umeda building observatory at 35 floors ( which is amazing) go before 3pm or you only get a 10% discount. Entry is pricey. However there is a bar on the 35 floor. We had a glass of wine watching Osaka shine and settle over the water with a beautiful sunset.

As a traveller from the UK, with no Japanese linguistic ability, the pass made getting into attractions very easy. All we needed to do was show the QR code. We were actually given rapid access going into the Umeda building. We visited more places than we might have done without the pass.
