La buena recepción, el trayecto muy especial en cada momento de los ascesores muy pendientes de cada uno, buena señalizacion visual para los embarques hacia el bus, lo mas impactante fue la fauna con el cristo redentor y los monitos cada curiosidad que hacian impactaba no solo a mi sino a cada persona que estamos en ese momento visualizando nos robo sonrisa y cada momento fue especial

Excelente opción, salimos desde Copacabana en el Praça do Lido, el acceso fue rápido, confiable y fácil, ahí te escanean el código QR que te había llegado al correo y te entregan las boletas de la van y del ingreso, ellos tienen cámaras en el Cristo redentor y te informan si está muy nublado o despejado y así tomas la decisión si subes o puedes cambiar de día lo cual me pareció muy razonable ; luego subes a una van muy cómoda, en 20 min estás arriba del corcovado, luego te hacen otro control con la boleta de entrada y subes nuevamente en otra van por 5 minutos hasta llegar al acceso del Cristo redentor; arriba puedes quedarte el tiempo que necesites y el regreso es igual dejándote en la misma parte; una experiencia muy recomendada 10/10.

Visiting Christ the Redeemer was one of the highlights of my trip to Rio. The round-trip van transfer made everything easy and stress-free, especially as a first-time visitor. The pickup process was smooth, the views were incredible, and seeing the statue in person was even better than I expected. Everything went as planned, and I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Rio.

Plan your visit with tickets that combine transport and entry, so you reach the mountaintop statue and spend unrushed time at the top.

Your day starts at a boarding point, where you show your ticket and board shared transport that carries you through Tijuca Forest toward the summit.

At the top you walk to the base of Christ the Redeemer, pause beneath its outstretched arms, and look out over Rio from viewpoints that ring the city.

Use your time at the summit your way, take photos, pause for reflection, or circle the platforms to change your view of the monument.

Add museum entry and time at Paineiras Visitor Center with van options, so you can explore exhibits and take a break between the ride and the statue.

Choose between vans from points like Copacabana, Largo do Machado, Metropolitan Cathedral or Paineiras, and the Corcovado train from Cosme Velho.

Getting started

Begin by heading to the boarding point indicated on your voucher, such as Copacabana, Largo do Machado, Metropolitan Cathedral, Paineiras Visitor Center, or Cosme Velho Station if you choose the train. Exchange your printed voucher for a boarding pass and keep your ID ready. Then board your reserved van or train service for the journey through Tijuca Forest toward Corcovado.

Your ticket gives you streamlined access to Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, with transport included so you do not need to worry about separate logistics.

Features

Travel with round-trip van transfers from Copacabana, Largo do Machado, Metropolitan Cathedral, or Paineiras Visitor Center if you select a van option, or enjoy round-trip train transfers from Cosme Velho Station if you choose the Corcovado train.

Pause at Paineiras Visitor Center when a van option is selected, where you can take a short break, enjoy the viewpoint, and use services before continuing up to the summit area.

Access the Christ the Redeemer Statue at the top of Corcovado, where viewing platforms let you see Rio de Janeiro’s coastline, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the city center spread out below.

Visit the Christ the Redeemer Museum if your chosen option includes it, and learn more about the monument’s construction, history, and cultural significance.

At the end of your visit, use the same mode of transport and boarding point you selected initially, with your round-trip van or train transfer bringing you back to your starting location.

Paineiras Corcovado: Located at the Paineiras Visitor Center on Estrada das Paineiras s/n, this boarding point is ideal for visitors arriving directly at the visitor center. Vans depart from the center itself.

Largo do Machado: Located in front of Nossa Senhora da Glória Church, just a 2-minute walk from Largo do Machado metro station (Exit A). This is a convenient boarding point for visitors staying in Flamengo, Glória, or nearby central Rio neighborhoods. Nearby bus lines include 104-TRO4, 497, 583, and 775D.

Copacabana: Located at Praça do Lido on Avenida Atlântica, opposite Posto 2 on Copacabana Beach. From Cardeal Arcoverde metro station, follow Rua Rodolfo Dantas towards the beach, turn left onto Avenida Atlântica, and continue to Praça do Lido (approximately 10 minutes on foot). Ideal for visitors staying in Copacabana and nearby South Zone neighborhoods. Nearby bus lines include 104-TRO4, 432, 457, 472, 473, and 483.

Catedral Metropolitana: Located at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro, this boarding point is convenient for visitors staying in downtown Rio (Centro). Take the metro or VLT light rail to Carioca, or arrive via Praça XV ferry terminal. Follow Avenida República do Chile and enter the cathedral parking lot. Turn right and continue past the Christ statue to reach the ticket office and boarding area.

Return transfers: Return transfers follow the same boarding point and transport mode. If you depart from Largo do Machado by van, you'll return there by van as well.

Arrival time: Arrive at your boarding point at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Vans operate on a strict schedule and will not wait for late arrivals. Missed departures are non-refundable.

Access road restriction: Access via Estrada do Redentor is closed, and all visitors must use authorized transport.
