Carcassonne is a city with an interesting history. It's history is displayed in the fortress architecture of the castle and ramparts. The ticket allowed for a pleasant stroll along the medieval stone walls. Everything about it was a true learning experience.

On entre la première "porte" et wow! On entre dans une ville médievale. On marche dans cette ville par la rue indiquée et on se rend à l'entrée du Château et ses remparts. C'est comme dans les films! Fantastique. Pour les remparts, il y a beaucoup de marches mais ça en vaut le coup. Nous avons passé 3 heures à cette visite inoubliable.

De stad was prachtig. Heel bijzonder om hier rond te lopen. De dubbele ringwal, de winkeltjes, de restaurants. Wij waren blij verrast dat er zelfs glutenvrije opties voor ons waren. We hebben in het bijzonder genoten van een heerlijk glutenvrij ijsje waar ze een schitterend kunstwerk van hadden gemaakt.

El lugar impresiona desde que lo ves de lejos. Fácil aparcamiento y no excesivamente caro. El entorno muy cuidado, limpio, lleno de negocios donde comprar y comer. La visita muy bien organizada, todo con carteles y señalizada. Quedé encantada

Het hele kasteel en de vestingmuren zijn geweldig en een bezoek waard. Vooral de beeld presentatie op de eerste was prachtig en bijzonder interessant. Nog nergens gezien en wij reizen over de hele wereld.
