Schöne Tour mit unserem deutschen Tourguide Marvin. Er hat die Führung mit sehr viel Hintergrundwissen und einer guten Mischung Spaß und Spiel ansprechend gestaltet. Die Zeit verging wie im Flug. Die Parade vor dem St. James Palast konnten wir aus der 1. Reihe sehen. Super! Absolut eine Empfehlung wert und Danke nochmal Marvin!

Our guide was Nathan. He did a wonderful job and provided us with very interesting and funny stories and led us to the perfect locations for watching the Changing of the Guard. After that we visited the State Rooms (without him but digital guide) which were also absolutely recommend!

The Changing the Guard ceremony takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the year. However, last-minute cancellations can occur without prior notice due to palace or local authority decisions or bad weather.

The State Rooms are only open for a few months in the year, typically from July to September.

The Changing the Foot Guards Ceremony takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

On Sundays, a slightly different version of the ceremony takes place, known as the Sunday Parade.

If you book your tour on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday, you will experience the Changing the Horse Guard Ceremony instead.
