Present your mobile ticket at each attraction and follow the venue's check-in instructions. At Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, arrive early to collect your visitor guide and check the daily presentation schedule. For the Story Bridge Twilight Adventure Climb, arrive at your scheduled climb time to check in, complete your safety briefing, and get ready for your ascent.

What to expect

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Meet iconic Australian wildlife: See 130+ native species, including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, dingoes, and platypuses. Explore Koala Forest, Kangaroo Reserve, and Platypus House.

Learn from the keepers: Join wildlife presentations and keeper talks covering animal behaviour, conservation, and Australia's unique native species.

Enjoy a riverside escape: Wander through native habitats, shaded paths, and peaceful riverside areas, with picnic spots and onsite dining available.

Stone Story Bridge Adventure Climb

Climb at twilight: Follow a purpose-built route featuring a spiral staircase and elevated walkway as you make your way towards the summit of Story Bridge.

Watch Brisbane transform: Take in golden-hour views as the sun begins to set, then watch Brisbane's skyline and surrounding landmarks light up as evening arrives.

Enjoy 360° city views: Look across the Brisbane River towards the Glass House Mountains, Moreton Bay, and Scenic Rim while the changing light creates a different perspective of the city.

What's not allowed

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Glassware, scooters, skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, skates or motorised vehicles, noise amplifiers, speakers, megaphones or musical instruments and alcohol are not allowed on this experience.

Smoking is not permitted inside the sanctuary. A designated smoking area is available outside. Guests can request a re-entry stamp when exiting to access this area without paying again.

Due to venue restrictions, pets are not allowed.

Story Bridge Adventure Climb

Open-toed shoes are not permitted. Participants must wear fully enclosed rubber-soled footwear.

Personal items and cameras are not permitted on the climb. Lockers are available on site.

Accessibility

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Most of the sanctuary is wheelchair and pram/ stroller accessible with alternate routes for guests with limited mobility. However, areas such as the kangaroo reserves and unpaved paths may not be suitable for wheelchairs.

Both wheelchairs and strollers are available for hire at $6 each. Contact the venue in advance to ensure you can reserve one.

Your guide dogs with valid ID are welcome in Lone Pine’s public areas, including the Riverside Café. Entry to the paid sanctuary requires advance booking and the visit is guided by a Lone Pine member, limited to 2 hours.

Story Bridge Adventure Climb

For safety reasons, pregnant guests cannot participate.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Facilities: Parents’ room, first-aid, Wi-Fi, & parking.

Children below 13 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult aged 18 or over.

Please note that koala holding experiences are no longer offered as of 2024. Instead, you can book a koala encounter where you'll have the chance to gently pet a koala and learn about them from knowledgeable keepers.

Story Bridge Adventure Climb

Participants must be at least 6 years old, 110 cm tall, and weigh no more than 130 kg.

Child tickets are applicable for guests aged 6–16 years.

The climb experience lasts approximately 2 hours, including preparation and climbing time.

Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

A maximum of 3 minors per adult is permitted.

All climbers will be breathalyzed and must register below 0.05 BAC before participating.

One complimentary group photograph is included with the experience.

Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
