Ayant oublié les tickets d'entrée à l'hôtel, j'ai été agréablement surpris d'avoir un appel spontané de la villa Borghese à l'heure prévue pour l'entrée du site. cette personne s'est inquiétée de notre absence. Elle nous a indiqué comment faire pour nous permettre d'entrer quand même. Quelle heureux dénouement pour cette visite magnifique qui avait failli d'être avortée. Merci encore.

The bus was at each stop at 8 minutes or less and each stop was in a great location. We where able to get off and walk around then catch another bus and climb right on. We actually enjoyed just listening to the audio and traveling around the city for the first day.

Llegamos una hora tarde porque el vuelo se retrasó pero fueron tan amables que nos permitieron hacer la visita. Estuvimos dos horas y hubiésemos estado ocho porque es un museo maravilloso.

Best tour of all in Rome. So much artwork. Go at your own pace auto tour made it better to understand and learn about each room. Plus the outside grounds were beautiful.

Bus was crowded, had to waiti for the next bus. Got off at 1B but when we went to get back on, two buses drove past without stopping. Had to abort and walk to the railway station - most frustrating. Otherwise, the circuit was good, the commentary was informative. Had to jump through hoops to buy ticket on line, had to download an app, confirm through e-mail address, and then only receive a voucher not even a ticket, then swap the voucher. Way too much just to make a simple low value ticket purchase. Needs to be simplified.

Borghese Gallery

A visit to Rome wouldn't be complete without experiencing the Borghese Gallery, renowned for its collection of masterpieces by Renaissance artists such as Raphael, Bernini, Caravaggio, Titian, and Canova. However, waiting in line for tickets can be cumbersome. See Raphael's The Deposition, Bernini's Apollo and Daphne, and Caravaggio's self-portraits. Marvel at the marble sculptures of the Twelve Roman Emperors and the rare paintings adorning the walls. One highlight is Canova's sculpture of Pauline Bonaparte, Napoleon’s sister.
