What to expect
Hobart highlights
Your bundle includes time in and around Hobart, combining city viewpoints, historic areas, and nearby regions rich in local produce. This part of the experience focuses on culture, heritage, and regional flavors.
Features
- Look out over Hobart from kunanyi/Mt. Wellington, where you can take in panoramic views of the city, river, and surrounding hills before continuing back down towards the waterfront.
- Walk through Salamanca Market to browse Tasmanian art, regional produce, and souvenirs, then explore Hobart's historic landmarks and vibrant culture at your own pace.
- Travel in comfort with hotel pickup and drop-off at selected CBD hotels included, which simplifies getting to and from the Hobart highlights portion of your 2-day bundle.
Bruny Island and national park
Bruny Island forms the nature-focused side of the bundle, combining coastal scenery with short walks and optional tastings. You visit a national park area known for world-class beaches and rugged coastlines.
Features
- Experience the natural beauty of Bruny Island as you move between world-class beaches, rugged coastlines, and lookouts that showcase the island's changing landscapes.
- Optional stops let you indulge in award-winning local produce such as oysters, fudge, honey, and seafood, so you can sample what the island is known for while you explore.
- Entry to the National Park is included in your bundle, giving you access to protected coastal environments and short walks without needing to purchase a separate park pass.
Coal River Valley wine region
Your 2-day bundle also features time in the Coal River Valley, one of Tasmania's key wine-growing areas within easy reach of Hobart. This component focuses on regional spirits and countryside vistas.
Features
- Spend time in the Coal River Valley wine region, where the landscape is dotted with vineyards and cellar doors that showcase local production.
- Taste local spirits from the Coal River Valley, appreciating how the climate shapes the styles poured during your visit.
- Travel between Hobart and the valley as part of your bundled itinerary, so you can focus on tasting and scenery rather than driving logistics.
Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary
Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary introduces you to native Australian animals in a dedicated wildlife setting. This stop provides the wildlife-focused element of the bundle.
Features
- Meet unique Australian wildlife at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, including species that are emblematic of Tasmania and the broader region.
- Spend time observing animals in the sanctuary environment, which allows for close viewing and photo opportunities compared with spotting wildlife at a distance in the wild.
