Unforgettable day at the American Museum of Natural History ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Booking through Headout made the whole visit effortless. The tickets arrived instantly on my phone, and the entry was quick and smooth, with no confusion at the door and barely any wait. Inside, the museum is staggering. Standing beneath the blue whale in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life was a real "wow" moment, and the dinosaur halls, with the towering T. rex and massive fossil skeletons, were the highlight of my day. The dioramas in the African Mammals hall and the gems and minerals collection were beautifully done too. It's easy to spend hours here and still not see everything, so I'd suggest picking a few halls ahead of time. A perfect mix of education and wonder, great for families, couples, or solo explorers. Highly recommend booking with Headout to skip the stress!

The Museum was absolutely wonderful! Spent 4 hours and still couldn't finish all the sections. The information is so well documented and displayed, it's really impressive. The African Mammals section and the meteorite section were my favorite. Headout made the process super smooth. Got the tickets along with timely reminders a day before the experience. Used the Headout-powered Dex audio guide app that gave an immersive experience of the museum in a super engaging way! This is a must-see when you're in NYC.

You can select the special exhibit of your choice at the ticket counter when you arrive, based on your preference, for General Admission + 1 Ticketed Exhibition and Dated Entry + 1 Ticketed Exhibition tickets.

The Museum has a parking garage at its 81st Street entrance and a subway stop, 81st Street, Museum of Natural History, where the B and C trains stop.

If you live in New York State, you can choose your own admission price; you must show a valid ID at the entrance.

The museum offers free entry during the last hour of the day, from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

All members of the US military and their families can get free general admission during the Blue Star program, from Armed Forces Day to Labor Day.

For the rest of the year, members of the US military and one guest can access free general admission.

Carry a valid government ID to access your complimentary admission to the American Museum of Natural History.
