I have never been on a water bus! I loved the new experience and it was a beautiful sightseeing trip. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. I like that it took you right to the airport no traffic, and dealing with a crowd of people. It was relaxing compared to riding the train and having to change trains lugging the luggage each time that was awful having to fight people and the doors shutting on you. The boat was relaxing and I did not dread having to fight my luggage again. Thank you Leslie

This was a wonderful and simple experience to collect our bags at airport and hop on the Ailaguna Orange line to Guglie vaporetto stop five minutes from Our Airbnb! Stunning views on the ride from airport to Venice..

Our ride from Venice airport was very easy. We went directly into the airport and one floor up . Then following the water bus /taxi signs. Usually gate 12A or 13 and it was very simple. Wilson, USA Oct 2026

Easy to use service and a very good way to get to Marco Polo Airport from the centre of Venice during the daytime and evening. I could not fault the service which was efficient and easy to access.

Great way to get to the airport. It's the first time I've arrived at one by boat! Got to see a lot of the islands and arrived promptly with little fuss

I have no real complaints about the Alilaguna service per se but people should know in advance: It's a long walk from the arrivals area to the embarkation point and back. There are no toilets on the (properly, heads, I guess!) so go before you get on. The queues are long and I almost didn't get on the boat to Venice -- but, happily, I did (it helped that I was a single). There is little ventilation on the boat so it was hot and stuffy. It's ideal for Murano, where I stayed, as it's the first stop there and the last one back. But you may have to plan to take an earlier one you might not otherwise need to do in case you don't get on. There were only a few seats left when I went -- at 06:40 am -- so I got lucky but had I been denied boarding on the next boat (an hour later at that time of day) I'd not have made it on time. Some people were allowed to keep their luggage with them, taking up seating space. But I arrived safely in both directions so that is the important thing. The pricing seems fair.

Round-trip tickets must be kept securely and used within 30 days from the date of first validation.

In case of fog or bad weather, service may switch to a car transfer to Piazzale Roma.

Service staff is available at Desk 71 (Marco Polo Airport, first floor).

After arrival at Marco Polo Airport, follow signage that leads to the dock/water-bus/vaporetto area. You will have to walk for 5–10 minutes from your terminal to the dock to board your boat.
