Arrive at Kings Dominion on your selected date and head to the main entrance gates. Have your e-ticket ready on your phone or bring a printed copy for scanning. Be prepared for a standard security screening, including bag checks. A valid photo ID may be required for verification before entry.

Features

The skyline’s newest headliner is Rapterra, a launched wing coaster that simulates the flight of the mythical Jungle Hawk with a powerful electromagnetic launch start. You’ll rocket from 0 to 65 mph in four seconds, crest 145 feet, and soar through three inversions—a dive loop, corkscrew, and 360‑degree “raptor roll”—along 3,086 feet of track. It’s billed as the world’s tallest and longest launched wing coaster, and it’s the must‑ride of the season.

Families can ride together and meet the PEANUTS® Gang in PLANET SNOOPY®; signature kid‑friendly favorites like Woodstock Express anchor a lineup built for younger adventurers. You can even plan a photo stop with SNOOPY® and friends during scheduled meet‑and‑greets in the land.

The park’s established lineup keeps the thrills coming. Dominator remains a staple with five inversions and the distinction of being the world’s longest floorless coaster. Twisted Timbers blends wood supports with steel track for hybrid airtime and agility, beginning with a barrel‑roll drop and continuing through two more inversions and 20+ airtime moments. Pantherian delivers towering speed and force, rising to 305 feet with a 300‑foot first drop before a high‑speed run of twists and turns.

When the day heats up, Soak City makes it easy to shift from thrills to chills. The 20‑acre waterpark is included with every park ticket and Season Pass and features extreme water slides, a massive wave pool, cabanas, and interactive Coconut Shores family area—so you can splash, float, and relax without leaving the property.

What to bring

Carry a valid photo ID in case it is required at entry.

Keep your mobile phone with the e-ticket ready, or bring a printed ticket.

Pack essentials like a swimsuit, sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable walking shoes.

Bring extra cash or a credit card for parking, dining, lockers, and upgrades.

What’s not allowed

Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the park.

Alcohol, drugs, and intoxication of any kind are strictly prohibited.

Large bags, coolers, and suitcases are not permitted.

Pets are not allowed, except registered service animals.

Weapons, sharp items, and hazardous materials are strictly banned.

Loose articles are not permitted on most rides and should be left with non-riders or secured in lockers. Cell phones, keys, wallets, or other small items must be secured in cargo pockets or zippered jacket pockets. All loose articles which cannot be secured must be left in a locker or with a non-rider prior to entering the queue.

Accessibility

Wheelchairs and strollers can be rented at the park, subject to availability.

Certain rides may have age, height, or health restrictions.

Accessible restrooms and facilities are located throughout the park.

Registered service animals are allowed within the premises.

Many amusement rides use manufacturer-designed safety systems built to accommodate people of average physical stature and proportion. These systems may limit the ability of some individuals to safely ride.

Guests of larger or smaller size; guests with heart, back or neck conditions; pregnant guests; guests recovering from recent surgery; and guests with casts, braces, restrictive devices or certain disabilities may not be safely accommodated.
