To ensure Keukenhof 2027 stays in bloom for eight weeks, gardeners plant bulbs in layers. Early bloomers sit on top, while late bloomers wait underneath.

7,000 kilograms. That is the approximate weight of the flower bulbs provided by nearly 100 royal suppliers to create the annual display.

The park’s famous Windmill was actually a gift from the Holland-America Line in 1957, originally built in 1892 in Groningen.

Main entrance

The main entrance, situated to the south of the gardens, features a decorative gatehouse and ticket office. Adjacent to it are stops for the Keukenhof Express Bus, tour buses, and taxis, along with ample parking spaces.

Extra entrance

Located to the north of the gardens, the extra entrance operates exclusively during peak times. It provides a smaller parking area for cars and bikes.

I really enjoyed the canal cruise! What I appreciated the most was that there wasn’t an overload of information, so I could simply relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the city. I also noticed right away that the windows were perfectly clean, which made a huge difference. My first canal cruise experience was during the Light Festival with another company, and unfortunately the windows were so dirty that I could barely see anything outside. This time, the view was crystal clear, and it made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this cruise to others!

The captain was THE highlight! With his many additional comments and funny anecdotes in English, he was a big hit with my kids (teenagers) too. We learned a few things about Amsterdam that you definitely won’t find in any guidebook.

A well-organized tour with friendly staff and a comfortable bus. One note: the tickets should make it clear that you need to be at the meeting point 30 minutes before the scheduled time.

Keukenhof is one of those bucket list kinds of visits that you must do at least once. We are glad we did. The gardens were very beautiful, and full of flowers of many varieties and colours. There are some 7 million bulbs including over 800 varieties of tulips alone! Wear comfortable shoes and make sure your camera has plenty of room for photos. Also, on the way inside, get a free map to make sure you don't miss anything such as the special orchid exhibit we saw, or the historic English-style garden, or the little petting zoo. Have a great time. We did.

It was truly a wonderful experience—a beautiful park filled with tulips of every color. It was so exciting, and the orchids and other flowers were arranged in such beautiful displays. We had an elderly person with us, and the availability of wheelchairs was incredibly helpful. The dining options were excellent, too... I highly recommend it

The park is wonderful. It's a shame it was a bit rainy that day, but it was worth it. Everything is very clean, and it's a pleasure to stroll among so many flowers. There are musical performances to liven up the walk. I would definitely go back—it exceeded my expectations.
