Wonderful walk through the history of Scotland at Holyrood palace. The self guided tour with audio highlights gave so many insights and really helped put you in the time the palace housed Mary Queen of Scots and many others. Truly enjoyed our time there.

Particularly like the audio headsets that not only told explained where you were in the house, but also you had an opportunity to see certain rooms differently, by 'scratching' the scene. Plus the old palace and grounds were great to see.

The person that took the tour billy I think he was called was very good at showing you the places and telling the stories of the time.

I loved this .. the highlight of my trip to Edinburgh. The staff were amazing and played their characters superbly. Informative, interactive and lots of fun. I giggled from start to finish. I went with my very introverted daughter, who usually wouldnt entertain that sort of thing, but she played along and enjoyed the experience too.

What a laugh we had. The actors keep it all going to well. Thats my 4th visit over the last 7 years and I love how its been different each time We pre booked on line as it saves quite a bit of money

Our guide Australian David was a very friendly guide who told us a lot about Scottish history. The castle is gorgeous and the view over Edinburgh breathtaking. For it was crowded it might have been helpful to wear headphones

Our guide Jen had a very engaging approach to explaining the history of Edinburgh Castle. Her dry humour throughout was great. Although the pace is fast it didn't feel rushed at all. Highly recommend the tour.
