About Highland Wildlife Park

Unlike a compact city zoo, Highland Wildlife Park pairs large Highland-style reserve landscapes with walk-through animal areas inside Cairngorms National Park. Its focus is cold-weather and mountain-adapted species rarely grouped together in Britain, from polar bears and snow leopards to Japanese macaques, wolves, and Amur tigers. The drive-through reserve also changes the pace, mixing animal viewing with long mountain-backed vistas.

Located at the main admissions building beside the onsite parking area at Highland Wildlife Park, Kincraig, Kingussie, PH21 1NL, this is the entrance used by all visitors. Online tickets are scanned here, and voucher or partner-ticket holders may be asked for manual proof verification. Step-free access is available. During school holidays and late mornings, this is where admissions lines are most likely to build. The entrance is easy to identify as the main visitor building next to the car park.
