    What our guests say

Wow, just wow. Did the reef shark snorkel with my husband and teen daughter and honestly, we keep talking about it nonstop. The boat ride out was chill (tip: bring snacks, breakfast was too early for me), and when we got to Kuata the staff greeted us singing! The gear was all clean and fit even my size 43 feet. The actual snorkel—EPIC! Sharks swam RIGHT under us, and the guides were super chill about helping my daughter who got a bit freaked (she’s not a fish person). After, the buffet lunch was surprisingly good (the pineapple, omg), and we just lounged by the pool. Def take extra sunscreen, I roasted my nose. Only thing: felt a bit rushed getting back on the boat. But still, 10/10!

I can’t even believe I swam with sharks. Like, actual SHARKS (not huge ones, but still). Went with my partner. The guides made us laugh and feel super safe. The water was the clearest blue I’ve ever seen. Buffet lunch after was actually tasty, especially the veggie stuff. We hung out in hammocks after and just soaked up the island vibes. Best memory from Fiji so far. If you’re scared of sharks, don’t worry, you’ll forget that in 2 mins.

Went solo, joined a group of strangers who turned into friends. The sharks are SOOO cool, even if you’re nervous. Water was a bit choppy but not scary. Staff kept checking if we’re ok and gave tons of tips for nervous swimmers. Loved the lunch but didn’t love the card surcharge (heads up: cash not accepted almost everywhere, except at the tiny market). Extra points for the underwater photographer. I bought a pic, totally worth it.

So, I was honestly scared out of my mind but wanted to try something different. The guides were so friendly and made me feel safe the whole time. Saw 4 sharks and maybe 50 fish? Not sure, lost count. Only downside—felt like we didn’t get enough time in the water. But the views from the shuttle boat were unreal. Worth it if you love adventure, but maybe not for the faint of heart.

Took my two kids (10 & 13) and honestly, it’s the highlight of their trip. The snorkeling is wild—sharks right under you and a million fish. The crew are LEGENDS, super patient with my son who panicked at first. Lunch was just okay (pasta a bit bland), but you don’t really care after that swim. Bring your own snorkel if you’re fussy about sharing. Would go again in a heartbeat.
