What to expect

Zrmanja River canoe safari / rafting

This guided adventure takes you along the clear waters and spectacular canyons of the Zrmanja River, with views that extend into Velebit Nature Park. The route is designed for both beginners and experienced paddlers and runs daily during the summer, from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Features

• Expect varied paddling through sections of calm water and gentle rapids, with time to enjoy Croatia’s natural settings through paddling, swimming, and relaxing along the river.
• Your canoe safari or rafting trip on the Zrmanja River includes an expert English-speaking guide who ensures safety and keeps the small-group pace comfortable for different experience levels.
• Use of necessary equipment is provided for the entire trip, including the boat, paddle, helmet, lifejacket, dry barrel, neoprene shoes and suits, and a rain jacket if necessary, so you only need to bring your personal clothing and sun protection.
• The entrance fee to Velebit Nature Park is included, so you can focus on the scenery of the park’s canyons and rivers rather than separate tickets or permits.
• Insurance is provided for the activity, and waterproof containers are available for personal items, although Raftrek Adventure Travel is not responsible for the loss of or damage to personal items.
• At the endpoint of the river route, a return transfer is organized back to your personal car, making the experience a simple point-to-point outing without arranging your own transport.

Wrapping up

Once you arrive back at the start point and your personal car, the organized part of the tour concludes and you are free to continue your day. Keep in mind that tips or gratuities, bus fare, food and drinks, and any optional transfer from the Zadar region for an additional surcharge of 30€ per person are not included, so plan these elements separately.
