We had a wonderful experience on this tour! Our driver and guide, Kamal, was excellent very friendly, helpful and informative throughout the trip. He made the experience even more enjoyable and we would highly recommend this tour especially Kamal to be driver . The pottery and argan oil-making stops were interesting and gave us a great insight into the local culture and traditional crafts. The products at the argan oil stop were quite expensive compared with those in the Medina market, although the quality may be worth the difference. The walk to Ourika valley was so fabulous and even lunch with the nature was the best experience.Overall, it was a fantastic tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it! 🌟

Nous avons passé une très belle journée lors de notre excursion dans la vallée d'Ourika avec Kamal, notre guide très sympa et qui nous a appris plein de choses tout au long du trajet et de la journée. Visite du village Berbère, d'une fabrique de tapis, d'une coopérative de fabrication de produits à base d'huile d'argan, montée à la cascade, sans compter le traditionnel repas au bord du cours d'eau. Journée bien remplie et très instructive. Nous étions un petit groupe et conseillons tous de faire cette journée à Ourika, même si c'est très touristique.

Great value for money, and memorable experiences. We recommend that you have the two events on different days as the balloon trip is a very very early start (our pick-up was 0350 (am!)) and we were dropped back at the Riad around 0900, the pickup for the day trip is also around 0900 if you do them the same day. Fortunately we did book for separate days, but it's not clear this is an option.

Génial !!!! Incroyable!!! Réveil à 4h difficile mais ça valait le coup. La petite collation avant l'envol pour nous réveiller, le tour en montgolfière et le petit déjeuner berbère à la fin ont fait de cette dernière journée un super moment, et un souvenir pour toujours ! Merci

Le chauffeur était très sympa ainsi que notre guide pour la petite randonnée jusqu'à la cascade. La vallée d'Ourika est magnifique et nous avons apprécié le repas assis sur des coussins au bord de la rivière les pieds dans l'eau! Merci

Le chauffeur et le guide ont été extraordinaires et d'une gentillesse sans nom. Cependant, certaines étapes du tour sont de réels attrape touristes (arrêt pour photos et maison berbère). De son côté, l'excursion vers les cascades est agréable ainsi que le dîner au bord de la rivière.

Βόλτα με αερόστατο: εξαιρετική εμπειρία και πολύ καλά οργανωμένη από τη Marrakesh by air. Πολύ καλή παραλαβή, νόστιμο πρωινό, κορυφαίος πιλότος, καλή διαδρομή επιστροφής. Πολύ όμορφη, επαγγελματική και υπέροχη εμπειρία. Ημερήσια εκδρομή στην κοιλάδα Ourika: η παραλαβή ήταν καταστροφή, κακοδιοργανωμένη, και μέχρι να βγούμε από το Μαρακές είχε περάσει μία ώρα. Πρώτη στάση ένα απαίσια εμπορικό μέρος με δήθεν ωραία θέα από τη βεράντα. Το δεύτερο μέρος ήταν υποτίθεται ένα σπίτι/κοινότητα Βερβερίνων με αυθεντική παραγωγή ελαίου αργκάν. Δεν υπάρχει τίποτα το βερβερικό εδώ, είναι επίσης ένα εμπορικό μέρος όπου μπορείτε να αγοράσετε κυρίως προϊόντα ομορφιάς. Εν τω μεταξύ, είχε ήδη περάσει το μεσημέρι. Συνεχίσαμε για το σημείο του μεσημεριανού γεύματος δίπλα στο ποτάμι, το οποίο ήταν εντάξει. Η πεζοπορία προς τον καταρράκτη ήταν επίσης μια χαρά με έναν εξυπηρετικό ξεναγό. Αλλά και εδώ, υπήρχαν σωροί από πάγκους στον δρόμο προς τα πάνω. Ο καταρράκτης ήταν πάντως όμορφος. Εν κατακλείδι: αυτή η εκδρομή δεν αποτυπώνει τίποτα από το αυθεντικό Μαρόκο.

Your combo ticket includes a Full-Day Ourika Valley Tour and a Marrakech Hot Air Balloon Flight. Simply present your booking for each experience. Pickup details for both activities will be shared with you one day in advance. Enjoy each experience as scheduled, with no separate planning needed.

What to expect

Full-day Ourika tour

What to bring

Full-day Ourika tour

Bring comfortable hiking shoes with good grip for rocky terrain, sunglasses, sun hat, and sunscreen, water bottle (refill stops available), camera for waterfall and mountain photos, and light jacket (mountain temperatures can be cooler).

Marrakech hot air balloon

Bring a valid photo ID matching the name on your booking.

Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for outdoor activities.

It is recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for sun protection.

What’s not allowed

Full-day Ourika tour

Baby strollers, hand carts, baby carriages, large luggage or oversized bags are not allowed on this experience.

Marrakech hot air balloon

Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited before and during the activity.

Tips are not included and are at your discretion.

Large bags and suitcases are not permitted on the balloon.

Accessibility

Full-day Ourika tour

This experience is accessible by wheelchair or those with mobility issues as the experience includes a waterfall hike with 200 meters of elevation gain on uneven, rocky terrain and bridges along the trail have no railings.

Marrakech hot air balloon

This experience is not wheelchair accessible.

Additional information

Full-day Ourika tour

Pickup details will be sent via email the day before your trip (usually by 5pm), or shortly after booking for last-minute reservations.

If your accommodation is not accessible by car, a nearby meeting point will be arranged.

Please be ready 5-10 minutes before your confirmed pickup time.

Drop-off can be at the same pickup point or a different location in Marrakech upon request.

Regular stops for lunch, water, and restrooms are scheduled.

Arrival time back in Marrakech may vary slightly due to traffic or weather conditions.

Monday tours include the Tnine Ourika weekly souk; other days pass through the village.

Reaching waterfalls 2-7 requires additional climbing and is not included in this tour.

Marrakech hot air balloon

This activity is subject to weather conditions and may be rescheduled or canceled in case of unfavorable weather.

The maximum weight per passenger is 100 kg; please consult the operator in advance if you exceed this limit.

Hotel or riad pick-up and drop-off in Marrakech are included.

The experience includes a light continental breakfast before the flight and a traditional Berber breakfast after landing.

The tour is conducted by a live guide fluent in English, French, Arabic, Dutch, and Spanish.

Free WiFi is available on board the balloon.

You will receive a personal flight certificate at the end of your experience.
