Great tour was had, very insightful and the guide was so knowledgeable about the history, events and the darker side of the vaults. Such a fun tour with a lot of interesting information about the darker side of Edinburgh. The vaults were amazing to see and Stewart was a lot of fun. I would love to do another tour in the future.

What’s not allowed

Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted on this tour.

Alcohol, drugs, and anyone under the influence of these substances are strictly prohibited and will be refused entry.

Due to tour restrictions, your pets cannot tag along.

This experience is not wheelchair accessible.

Guests must be able to climb a 2-foot step and navigate a winding staircase to access the vaults.

The tour may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties or limited mobility.

Special late-night tours (11pm and midnight) are available only on select dates in October.
