We’ve already been to the Dungeons in Amsterdam and Hamburg. In Edinburgh, too, both the set design and the acting are top-notch. BUT: if you’re not a native English speaker, you won’t understand a word here! By comparison: in Amsterdam we understood pretty much everything, but here it was a total disaster, which is a real shame since the audience is international. But as I said: the actors and everything else are, as usual, world-class.

Very good show, kept us interested the whole time. Great staff who helped me with my disability and helped everything go through smoothly without worrying. Very interactive and a good way to learn history without kids reading books etc.

Edinburgh Dungeon. I wasn't expecting much; some cheezy, tourist trip. WRONG. WRONG. WRONG. Edinburgh Dungeon is great fun. The front of house staff are excellent and the performers working the various scenes are an absolute riot! We went with our two boys, aged 10 & 12, and sure, each found this or that scene a bit intense, but nothing traumatizing. Just a lot of fun while learning the horrible facts of life in "Auld Reekie" during the Middle Ages. For those unfamiliar, this isn't just a haunted house experience with jump scares. It is 10 (I think, 10) well-written and performed scenarios from the darker history of the city. A solid 80-plus minutes of genuine scares as you're guided from room to room, spending time at a suspect surgery, a plague-infested street, a witch trial and a haunted mansion (my favorite), among others. And don't say you weren't warned about the leeches.... A blast and a real memory for the family.

Got the train from east Kilbride with the kids after getting the train it was only a 5 min walk from train station which was good we booked the dungeons online at 20 per person which I thought was great price as both the kids had great time daughter 17 and son 12 it was their first time there was lots of stories and scares very realistic all the staff did great job entertaining all of us afterwards there was great gift shop which is card only which was a shame as we only took cash after the dungeons we went walk loads of shops and restaurants near by a good day was had by all 3 of us and would definitely recommend the dungeons
