Abgesehen davon, dass wir einen Einlass um 9:30 Uhr gebucht hatten, am Tag unseres Besuchs jedoch eine Veranstaltung stattfand und das Museum erst nach 11 Uhr statt um 9 Uhr öffnete, verlief alles reibungslos, und es dauerte insgesamt nicht länger als 10 Minuten (einschließlich der Sicherheitskontrollen), bis wir tatsächlich hineinkamen.

Es war super. Ihr müsst über „El Carrusel“ hineingehen, das ist so eine Art Einkaufspassage unterhalb der Pyramide. Dort sind fast keine Leute, der Einlass ging superschnell. Geht früh hin, um den Tag voll auszukosten.

Meine Gefühle sind gemischt. Die Bustour selbst hat mir gefallen und hat meine Erwartungen erfüllt – ich habe alles gesehen, was ich sehen wollte. Der Weg dorthin war jedoch äußerst chaotisch und muss unbedingt verbessert werden. Ich habe buchstäblich Stunden gebraucht, um die Big-Bus-Haltestelle zu finden, damit ich meine Tour beginnen konnte. Ja... Sie haben mir zwar die ungefähre Gegend genannt, aber nicht die genaue Adresse der Haltestelle (mit „Haltestelle“ meine ich den Hop-On-Standort). Ich verstehe, dass dies in einem kleineren Markt wie Edinburgh nicht unbedingt ein Problem ist, aber in einer großen und etwas hektischen Stadt wie Paris oder London ist es ein Muss. Zu Ihrer Information! Das muss verbessert werden!

Zu den Höhepunkten der Reise zählten der Eiffelturm, die neue Brücke „Covered“ (ein Kunstwerk) in der Nähe des Louvre, die Kathedrale Notre-Dame und die zahlreichen Teilnehmer des Pariser Marathons, die am Ufer der Seine entlangliefen. Aufgrund des Marathons haben wir beispielsweise den Triumphbogen nicht besucht. Die angekündigte Route war an diesem Tag geändert worden.

Die Tour war genau so, wie ich es erwartet hatte – ein toller Einstieg in eine wunderschöne Stadt. Allerdings bekam ich beim Einsteigen weder eine Karte noch einen Kopfhörer und musste meine eigenen verwenden, deren Kabel jedoch zu kurz waren. Eine Mitreisende gab mir freundlicherweise ihre Karte. Der Fahrer schien es kaum erwarten zu können, seine Schicht zu beenden, und fuhr einige Kurven so schnell, dass wir uns festhalten mussten, um nicht von den Sitzen zu rutschen. Die Sitze sind sehr hart.
