Boat left on the outward journey from another jetty . So it was very, very full. Actually wanted a place on the upper deck for photos . No chance

We had booked the tickets online in advance and now only had to show the codes in the app to receive the final tickets, just a few meters from our parking space. The line of people waiting for the ship was quite long, so we assumed our crossing would be quite crowded, but that was absolutely not the case. We could even choose between shady spots below deck and a sunny view above. The crossing was calm and the views of the lagoon and surrounding coastline were beautiful. When we wanted to start the return journey, we only just made it to the ferry at the scheduled departure time. This time the queue of passengers was overwhelming and the ship's crew became a little hectic. Was it due to the late departure? Or was the ship in danger of being overloaded? In any case, the remaining heads in the queue were briefly counted, and then we set off. This time it was full, but by no means uncomfortable. The trip to Venice was fantastic. It's nice that the crossing also allows a small local company to do a little business. We certainly felt at home.

To Venice everything worked out great, back it was a bit chaotic, you couldn't recognize the employees of the shipping company and there were no signs or anything like that to tell you where the ship was going, you were sent from one pier to another. Once you found your ship, everything went smoothly
