What to bring

• Swimwear and towel: Bring a swimsuit and towel if you plan to bathe in the geothermal pool.
• Weather-appropriate clothing: Dress according to the Icelandic weather, which can change quickly.
• Outerwear: Wear water- and windproof outer layers to stay dry and warm in the highlands.
• Footwear: Wear sturdy hiking boots for walking on uneven trails and lava fields.
• Headwear and gloves: Pack a warm hat and gloves to protect against wind and cold.
• Camera: Bring a camera to capture the landscapes along the route.
• Food and drinks: Carry your own food, drinks, and snacks as these are not included.
• Child car seats: Bring an appropriate child car seat if you are traveling with children under 135 cm, as required by Icelandic law.

Additional information

• Child safety: Children under 135 cm must use a child car seat, and children under 150 cm must not sit in front of an active airbag.
• Pickup in Reykjavik: Pickup starts from 8:30am in Reykjavik. Please be ready for your guide at your pickup location from 8:30am, and note that pickup can take up to 30 minutes.
• Pickup outside Reykjavik: Please note the start times for pickup outside of Reykjavik: Hveragerdi: 9:20am, Selfoss: 9:30am, Hella: 10:00am.
• Guiding at Landmannalaugar: Hikes at Landmannalaugar are self-guided and are not led directly by your guide.
• Wi-Fi coverage: Free Wi-Fi is available on board, but there may be areas in the highlands without signal.
