I had a day to explore Hongkong as my flight was delayed. I chose to visit Ngong Ping cable car and Buddha Statue. Getting the tickets was easy using Headout. It was even cheaper than getting the tickets in person. The Cable Car tour was amazing. The whole experience was fantastic.

Hurtig, behagelig og hyppig afgang med de rolige Turbojet-katamaraner mellem Macao Ydre Terminal (frem for Taipa) og Hongkong. Man kunne tage bussen, men hvorfor skulle man dog det?

Fantastic experience. I had overnight at airport hotel and chose Nging Ping as way to spend the day. Wonderful views of the mountains, the town, the sea and the airport and so many shades of green in the forests underneath. The wee village quaintly touristy but not rip off prices and I had nice lunch. Walked the many steps to the Big Buddha and strolled the quietness towards the forest trails. Amazing resource for hikers which I am not!!! Mountain mist did not spoil return journey. Cable car entry and exit well organised and efficient.

Det er fantastisk for mig at kunne købe billetten online, for så kan jeg bare stige af ankomstflyet, hente min kuffert og hoppe på Airport Express-toget til Kowloon, gå over til Kowloon West, gennem passkontrollen og videre med tog til Kina – det er så nemt og går lynhurtigt. Ingen kø i lufthavnen for at købe billet, man kan bare gå direkte af sted.
