Great morning, learnt about the origins of Sumo, the basic moves, the do's and don'ts and watched a couple of bouts - it was very interesting and left full of admeration for the skill of the wrestlers. The atmosphere was great, the two comperes did a brilliant job, and when audience members got up to "compete" both George and his compatriot did a great job at entertaining the crowd. Would definitely recommend It was much better than I was expecting.

V Tokiu jsme už dva měsíce, ale tohle bylo poprvé, co jsme měli možnost vidět město z tak neuvěřitelné perspektivy! Zážitek to byl naprosto úžasný. Vidět nádherné panorama Tokia a impozantní budovy ve dne bylo skvělé, ale noční výhled byl ještě úchvatnější, když se celé město rozzářilo

Top class. Organisation, MC, Sumo's, audience participation, hands on with the Sumo's... what can I say. It was more, much more than I expected. A MUST!!! The MC Paula, perfectly English, gave history into her fathers love of Sumo wrestling. Sumo's demonstration was incredible. Q&A with the Sumo's - insightful Bouts with the Sumo's for both adults and children- unique Thanks for offering this unique experience. A great team with timeless, pertinent organisation. I will recommend to all my family and friends coming to Tokyo. Thanks Sharon

We absolutely loved the classic sumo show. Rio the MC was amazing and very educational. I even got to fight Morita, unfortunately he beat me. We highly recommend visiting "The Classic Sumo Show" — Live Bouts, Q&A with Wrestlers & Souvenir Photo · Shinjuku you won't be disappointed. 😊

The even was so much fun. We liked the sense of humor used too tell us about the traditionele and culture of Sumowrestling. So except from a lot of laughing it was educational. I will book it for my grouos again!! Thank you so much for making a Japan trip complete.

Jedinečný zážitek, pokud se ocitnete v Šindžuku a chcete něco jiného než běžné památky. S partnerem jsme zašli na sumo show, když se venku zatáhlo, a byla to skvělá volba. Celý program probíhá uvnitř, takže se nemusíte bát deště. Panovala tam živá a komorní atmosféra se sedadly blízko ringu, takže jste měli výrazy i úsilí bývalých zápasníků přímo před očima. Předvedli různé rituály suma a silové chvaty, zatímco dvojjazyčný moderátor vysvětloval každý krok v angličtině i japonštině – dozvěděli jsme se toho mnohem víc, než jsme čekali. Velkým zážitkem byla část s dotazy a odpověďmi a můžete si se zápasníky dokonce i (velmi zlehka!) zazápasit, což přineslo spoustu smíchu a skvělých fotek. Lahev čaje zdarma byla milá pozornost. Jediné, co mě trochu mrzelo, bylo, že samotné zápasy suma mohly trvat o něco déle, ale celkově šlo o velmi nezapomenutelný zážitek a příjemně strávené odpoledne.

Cestuji na vlastní pěst a nalákal mě příslib autentického sumo představení. Úplně mě uchvátilo sledovat bývalé zápasníky předvádět techniky, které jsem do té doby znal jen z televize. Díky dvojjazyčnému moderátorovi byl každý pohyb snadno srozumitelný, což jsem ocenil, protože má japonština za moc nestojí. Nejlepší částí byla divácká výzva – neuvěřitelně zábavná a překvapivě interaktivní! Skutečným vrcholem pro mě bylo, jak blízko dění člověk sedí, a také opravdová vřelost během části s dotazy. Odcházel jsem s fotkou se zápasníky, díky čemuž byl celý zážitek opravdu osobní. Je to jedinečná a velmi přístupná ochutnávka japonské kultury, jen škoda, že to netrvalo o něco déle!

Jelikož v Tokiu celý týden pršelo, byl tenhle zážitek se sumem skvělým tipem na aktivitu pod střechou. Přišel jsem sám a hostitelé všechny velmi vřele přivítali. Zápasníci na odpočinku předvedli chvaty, které jsem dosud viděl jen v televizi, a pak vysvětlili význam každého rituálu. Bylo fascinující poslouchat o jejich tréninku a životě v tomto sportu. Dokonce se mi podařilo s jedním z nich vyfotit! Kdybych mohl něco změnit, bylo by to jen trochu víc času na otázky a odpovědi; ještě jsem se chtěl zeptat na jejich oblíbené zápasy. Přesto jsem odcházel s úsměvem na tváři – a s novým obdivem k sumu.
