Everything went according to the itinerary. We lucked out and weather was the best it had been during our time here. The texts we received were timely and appreciated.

I spent about 4 hours at Blue Lagoon and it was definitely worth the trip down. The lagoon itself is spacious and even though there are a lot of people coming and going, it doesn't feel like it due to the layout. I also appreciated there being parts of the lagoon that were quiet areas. The bathroom facilities are monitored all the time by attendants, so they are well maintained. The only downside of my trip was that at check-in the worker asked me if I had any questions about the wristband. As it was my first time going I didn't really know what questions I was meant to have and a quick run down of it would have been better than her asking me this question. Regardless, I left feeling refreshed and relaxed.

I found the lava landscape and blue water relaxing to look at, warm and cosy to feel, and not too busy with saunas, dry saunas, face mask and drinks huts to visit. I will also follow online for results of ongoing construction.
