Your experience begins with a warm welcome and a glass of Sicilian wine as you take in the breathtaking city views. The chef will introduce you to the philosophy of Sicilian cuisine — simple ingredients, bold flavors, and recipes passed down through generations. This is not the usual pasta-making class. Together, you will prepare a complete Sicilian menu from scratch, learning traditional techniques and family secrets along the way. Throughout the class, you’ll hear stories about Palermo’s food culture, local markets, family traditions, and the deep connection between Sicilians and their land. Vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request, with delicious traditional dishes such as Pasta alla Norma, Parmigiana di melanzane, vegetable timballo, cauliflower meatballs, and other plant-based Sicilian specialties. After cooking, sit down together on the terrace to enjoy the meal you’ve prepared, paired with generous servings of Sicilian wine.
